Questions
Is SUN ELD FMCSA approved?
FMCSA doesn't approve ELDs: makers self-certify them, and FMCSA lists them as registered. SUN ELD (ELD ID CZGS10) is on FMCSA's registered ELD list dated Oct 24, 2026, the list 49 CFR 395.22(a) says carriers must pick from.
How do I tell if my ELD is this SUN ELD?
Match the ELD ID on your screen to CZGS10 and check that your app is on version 1.0.0. FMCSA lists each model and software version separately, and one maker can have one version registered and another revoked.
