About this site

Owner Operator Tools puts the deadlines, fees and ELD statuses a one-truck carrier needs on pages that work on a phone, with the official source linked next to each figure.

The facts come from FMCSA, the IRS, the UCR Plan, the IFTA agreement and, for factoring, from each company's own website and signed agreements filed with the SEC. Each one is dated and linked to where we read it. Where a company doesn't publish something, the page says "not published" instead of guessing.

The ELD check covers 1,323 devices from FMCSA's lists dated Oct 24, 2026. FMCSA's own list is a single very large table that is hard to use on a phone, so we split it into one page per device and provider, with dates and FMCSA's replace-by deadlines.

Not a government site

We are not affiliated with FMCSA, the IRS, the UCR Plan, IFTA, Inc. or any state. FMCSA and the IRS are the authority on every rule here; when in doubt, use the official link on the page. Nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice.

Independent

We don't sell dispatch, factoring, ELDs, filing services or insurance, and no company has paid to be listed or ranked. How we make money explains what would change that and how it would be shown.

Email corrections@owneroperatortools.com. A wrong ELD status matters most to us, because a driver could be put out of service on it. See corrections.
