Can I keep driving with Blue Tree ELD?
Not as a registered ELD. The maker pulled it off FMCSA's list (FMCSA calls it "self-revoked"), and FMCSA hasn't published a paper-log period or grace period for withdrawn devices, so don't count on 60 days. Ask your provider which registered device or app version replaces it.
Another company's devices use the same ELD ID and are registered: AssetWorks ELD by AssetWorks, ELD Target by Alexis Meyer, PosiTrace ELD System by Global Fleet Management inc.. They're different listings and don't change this device's status.

Questions
Is Blue Tree ELD still FMCSA approved?
No. Blue Tree ELD (ELD ID ELD001) was withdrawn by its maker on Jul 9, 2025, according to FMCSA's revoked list dated Oct 24, 2026. It is no longer a registered ELD. A revoked or withdrawn device isn't on FMCSA's registered list, and 49 CFR 395.22(a) allows only registered ELDs.
How long do I have to replace Blue Tree ELD?
FMCSA hasn't published a grace period for devices a maker withdraws, so don't count on 60 days. Ask ORBCOMM which registered device or app version replaces it, and look that one up here.
Can a revoked ELD be reinstated?
Yes, if the maker fixes the problems: "If the ELD provider corrects all identified deficiencies for their devices, FMCSA will place the ELDs back on the list of registered devices and inform the industry and the field of the update." Until FMCSA's registered list shows it again, treat it as revoked.
What should I replace it with?
Any device on FMCSA's registered list. Registered providers that publish a monthly price start at $5.00 a month: ELD prices.
