Questions

Is Driver•i ELD FMCSA approved?

FMCSA doesn't approve ELDs: makers self-certify them, and FMCSA lists them as registered. Driver•i (ELD ID DRI210) is on FMCSA's registered ELD list dated Oct 24, 2026, the list 49 CFR 395.22(a) says carriers must pick from.

How do I tell if my ELD is this Driver•i ELD?

Match the ELD ID on your screen to DRI210 and check that your app is on version 2.5.18 and up. FMCSA lists each model and software version separately, and one maker can have one version registered and another revoked.

What happens if FMCSA revokes Driver•i ELD?

FMCSA's revocation notices say "Motor carriers have up to 60 days to replace the revoked ELDs with a compliant ELD." Drivers still using it on or after the date in the notice are put out of service. FMCSA doesn't announce investigations before a removal, so look the device up again when you hear about one.
