Can I keep driving with MYLOGS ELD?
Not on this device. FMCSA's date was Jul 7, 2026 (111 days ago). Drivers still using it are in violation of 49 CFR 395.8(a)(1), "No record of duty status", and are placed out of service. The paper-log bridge in FMCSA's notice ran until that date: you need a registered ELD.
FMCSA's notice: "Discontinue using the revoked ELDs and revert to paper logs or logging software to record required hours of service data." Replace "before Jul 7, 2026". The 8-day paper-log limit is a different rule, for a registered ELD that breaks down: "The driver must inform their carrier of the malfunction within 24 hours. The motor carrier has 8 days to repair, service, or replace the ELD." (FMCSA ELD FAQ)
